About Compaan Garage Doors

Compaan was founded on January 1, 1955. The company was acquired by Darrin Dreyer in 2005 after more than 20 years working alongside previous owner Jim Jonker. Travis Dreyer, who grew up in the business spending summers as an installer before moving into operations, became a partner in 2014 and took full ownership in 2020. Travis has 21 years in the garage door industry and attended Grand Rapids Community College.
