Installed a new seal on the bottom of our insulated door in 1/2 hour. I was going to do it myself but on this particular door it was not a feasible DIY project. Door tension had to be released and that’s where I draw the line and have the pro’s do it. The technician updated me on what was done and answered my questions. Overall a good experience and a professional trouble free install was performed.

Tech was very friendly and knowledgeable. He did a fabulous job and I am very happy to have access to my garage again!

We had a mishap with our garage door, damaging it and rending it inoperable. Austin came out and indicated he likely would not be able to get it operating. However, he would do what he could to get it opened so I could get our car out. Not only did he get it opened, but he got it operating. He was friendly, honest, and worked quickly. We are very pleased with our new Linear Aspen 200 insulated (R-18) garage door and Linear 3/4 hp door opener. The old Linear door and opener was installed by Guse-Hahn 34 years ago. I was pleased that they were still in business and would highly recommend them to anyone needing a new door or repairs. Since our garage is a finished garage and we plan to use it for social gatherings, we paid for the painted powder coated tracks and inside hardware upgrade and we are glad we did, it looks awesome! Robin, the office manager at Guse-Hahn Garage Doors, was very helpful in the process of us choosing the right door style and the various feature considerations. Both installers did an awesome job. My garage door started having an issue on a Sunday morning. I call for an appointment on Monday morning, with the first available being Wednesday. I was pleasantly surprised when I received a call saying the tech could make it out on Tuesday. On about an hour Jared diagnosed the snapped spring, replaced both springs and gave the rest of the door a good once over. He recommended replacement of all the rollers due to wear, which was also accomplished in that same hour. Jared was pleasant, informative and got the repair done much faster than expected. I will definitely call them again in the future if needed.

I could not get my garage door opener working. I stopped at Compaan on my way home from work and they fixed it, explained how to program it to work with my door and I was on my way home. $3.00 for a battery and great service. I can't say enough about how well they treat their customers. Thanks!

Service tech Josh was very helpful and got our garage doors adjusted and operating smoothly. He also recommended some helpful bi-yearly maintenance to ensure all operable parts of the door stay lubricated and running property.

Josh was good. Little earlier than expected. Couldn't get ahold of me because I didn't answer a female caller in Illinois. You need to have company phones with I.D. on call. BESIDES THAT, identified issue quickly, resolved it expediately and gave advice in what to watch for in future on door and opener.

They came out same day and Travis did a quick job. It was $325 to replace 1 spring and he left oil stain on our driveway. I called. They came back same day and cleaned it. They do what they say they will do!

Josh carefully installed new springs in my 11 year old garage doors, left the floor clear of debris and oil, and gave advice for lubrication. It was a good service call result.

Jen and Dana were very pleasant to work with for initial pricing, providing a huge benefit for me of letting me know that I could choose heavier duty springs, and suggested that I might want to consider preventative maintenance by replacing the second door’s spring now. I avoided a service call charge by doing the “while it still works” change now.

Jen also handled the mundane stuff like adding the payment card to my file, and scheduling the work with flair for the next day. Josh contacted me an hour before he arrived.

I was able to get the broken part needed to repair my opener for $16.00 . Technician was very nice and cordial and told me you couldn’t get the part needed to repair my opener. So I purchased a new opener for over $500.00 . I should have looked on line for the part needed sooner and could have saved myself over $500.00 .

Called to get a quote on a new quieter opener, they were able to fit me in the schedule quickly. The installer was courteous and the install shows pride in his work. Great experience.

The technician understood the issue with our garage door opener and explained my options. Based on those opinions a replacement was decided. The technician went back to the shop/office to get the replacement and came back to our house to complete the replacement.
The replacement was done in a timely manner including programming our van. Doing the replacement I asked a few questions which were answered promptly. The replacement was accomplished within about two hours including the final adjustments to insure proper opening and closing of the door. The technician insured rollers and hinges were lubricated.

We were very happy with our quick response and the technician rapidly located the problem and fixed it very quickly and shared information for future problems that may occur.

A well put together webpage that explains the ins and outs of installing and also operating the devices that are combined with the garage door and remote, as also what type of door you would want. Pretty cool that they have different varieties and options instead of how most companies only offer one solution. Sounds like their prices are negotiable, "NOT TO EXPENSIVE". Overall great business!! Just look at the facts they've been around since 1955.

I would definitely recommend this company. They don’t just offer repairs and installation, but also the options of creating your own garage doors. App is easy to navigate. Print is nice and large but not huge for easy to read, for all ages. Pictures of showroom helped understand their scope of sizes, colors, and other differences in their different projects. The only down fall I see is when companies don’t offer a baseline price without an actual estimate from a professional, some home owners would like to know some base prices for budgeting.

Our house is OLD (184 yrs) and our garage door was solid wood, heavy and rotting and not only was it ugly but I worried about safety. The end result looks great. A quality product and superb installation work by the Compaan team installers. Giving 4 stars because we did have some communication problems during the process. We had good conversations with the sales team early to express what we needed some details were missed. Some delays in delivery (without any proactive phone calls). Ultimately, yep, everything looks good and their team resolved gaps in parts; however, when I'm paying a premium and working with "the best", expectations are high. I would recommend Compaan to others, but double-check everything at the start to ensure there are no missed items.

I had a broken garage door that came off the track and wouldn’t close on Saturday afternoon at my 3rd Coast Motors showroom. I called a dozen or so companies and only Compaan could come out and fix it. Doug came out on Saturday evening and spent a little more than an hour fixing it. He did a great job! High quality work. Compaan didn’t originally install our doors 10 years ago but they provided immediate service to get our door open (broken torsion spring) and the spring replaced. Jared arrived promptly and installed the garage door opener efficiently. It works well. I have used Compaan for decades and they are a great company to work with.

My only disappointment is Jared couldn’t help me with the LiftMaster app. I have a similar opener at my other place which uses a different router. The app wants to connect to that router and I have been unable at FAQ site to find a way to associate app to two separate routers to enable WiFi control at this location.
